The Avent Express Electric Steam set (~ £35 – compare prices) sterilises up to 6 Avent bottles and feeding accessories in approximately 8 minutes and will keep the contents of a bottle sterile for 3 hours if left unopened.
The slightly more expensive Digital IQ Steam Steriliser set (~ £53) has a display and sound alert that tells you when sterilisation is complete and how long items will remain sterile. The display also lets you know when you have filled the steriliser with too little or too much water, so you can always be sure that sterilising has been completed accurately and reliably.
The Digital Steam Steriliser can hold up to 6 Avent bottles at one time and has an 6 minute sterilising cycle and can also be set to sterilise every 6 hours for 24 hours.
The Electric Steam Steriliser can also hold up to 6 x 260 ml Avent vottles or two Avent Breast Pumps and accessories and also takes about 8 minutes.
Both models include an internal rack which can be clipped together to form a dishwasher basket.
