As far as electric breast pumps go, this was great, especially since we got it via this site at a great price. I wasn't a fan of the soft petal insert, though: it had a habit of trapping my milk and making a mess, but I suppose that was my fault for not making sure to vacuum-seal it properly (I'd used other breast pumps before so hadn't read the manual thoroughly to know to do it.) Even though, the pump works perfectly even without the insert, and I find it to be infinitely more comfortable that way. I appreciate that it comes with a stand, and that the cord is nice and lengthy. It's also easy to clean.

In my experience, I have found this breast pump to be perfect for those of us who need to pump an occasional bottle or to relieve engorgement. The Isis pump is easy to use once your milk supply has been pretty well established. Also, it is very handy, simple to assemble, easy to clean, and comfortable to use. However, if you plan to work outside of the home and/or pump numerous bottles throughout the day, I recommend the Medela Pump-In-Style. Otherwise, the Avent Isis Pump will serve you well.

I am so impressed with the sound quality and range of my Avent Baby Monitor. The temperature and humidity features are so handy when we travelled abroad not long ago, not to mention the compact size! I also loved the lullabies and nightlight. They create a very soothing and calming environment in case she wakes.

I had a Medela Pump In Style Original that I used for about 3 months before it suddenly seemed to lose suction/power and I could no longer pump as easily as I once had. I was already pleased with all the Avent products I had - bottles, pacifiers, the microwave steam sterilizer, and the bottle warmer - the Avent breast pump seemed to get good reviews and I liked the idea of pumping straight into the feeding bottles, so I took the plunge. It *is* a lot of money, but so is any other dual electronic breast pump. I only wish now that I had bought this one first so I wouldn't have wasted money on the Medela.
